Plain English, no legal fog. Here’s what I keep, why I keep it, and how to get it removed.
Rebecca Lowe, a solo coaching and facilitation practice based in the UK. I’m the data controller for anything you share with me here. Contact: hello@rebeccalowe.co.
To reply to you, to send anything you asked for, and to remember our conversation so you don’t have to start again each time. I rely on your consent for the mailing list, and on legitimate interest for follow-ups after you’ve been in touch.
In a private, password-protected database hosted within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany), provided through Lovable Cloud. Only I can see it. It is never sold, rented or shared for marketing.
A small number of trusted services help things run: Calendly for bookings and Resend for sending email. They only see what’s needed to do their job.
Mailing list details stay until you unsubscribe. Enquiries and contact notes are kept while there’s a live conversation and for up to three years after we last spoke, then deleted. Client records are kept for six years for tax purposes.
You can ask me for a copy of what I hold, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it entirely — no explanation needed. Email hello@rebeccalowe.co and I’ll action it within 30 days. Every marketing email also has a one-click unsubscribe link.
If you’re ever unhappy with how I’ve handled your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
